Well, once again, England crashed and burned in a “pelanty” shootout. I’m not upset, I never thought we’d even get that far. To be honest, we never deserved to win that shootout, so it was not only a victory for Italy, but a victory for football. We would have only been embarrassed by ze German’s in the next round anyway.
Ha! If you’ve been following England in the Euro 2012, you will have seen the “controversial” disallowed goal vs. Ukraine, in which England went on to win 1-0, and top Group D. The “goal” was originally offside anyway, so I don’t know what the fuss is about? Well, it seems Specsavers jumped straight on it, I’ve just found this in my paper! Great ad, and a quick dispatch. I bet the advertisers were overjoyed over this senario!
